The Netgear ProSAFE GS516TP provides 16 ports of 10/100/1000 Gigabit data, with 8 ports capable of providing industry-standard IEEE 802.3af power to IP PoE enabled devices. This switch offers powerful L2 and L2+ features, enhanced PoE functions, and increased performance and usability.

The GS516TP has PoE/PD features, it can work as PD device that can get power from other PSE device through port 15 or/and port 16. Meanwhile, it can also deliver power to other PDs that are connected to its PoE ports (port 1 to 8).
