In November 2022, we hosted "AWS Presents: The Future of Biodiversity" to announce our exciting new partnership with the Natural History Museum. The evening offered an opportunity to network with attendees from a range of backgrounds across the industry, including AWS Sustainability teams, partners, and customers.
The Partnership
The Natural History Museum and AWS have partnered to help transform the Museum’s scientific research and community science capabilities by bringing together a broad range of UK biodiversity and environmental data types in one place for the first time. The organisations will develop a new data platform, the Data Ecosystem, which will be built using AWS technologies, allowing the Museum can capture, store, combine and compare data in a secure, resilient, and scalable way.
