Wout van Heeswijk is the CTO at 42on and a long-term expert in Ceph. In his talk, Wout discusses rbd snapshots and a specific bug in which a snapshot was not usable when restoring it. Although discussing a specific customer use case with a large-scale deployment, Wout presents a possible scenario of a problem with snapshots at Ceph and how to handle it.
