In his talk, Peter covers the evolution of the compute and the data center landscape for the next five years. His talk also focuses on achieving data center efficiency, techniques for scalability, and the next steps of the evolution of private clouds.
During the talk, Peter shows benchmarking between traditional X86 and the Ampere solutions to compare performance and efficiency.
Peter and his team at Ampere are enabling different open-source ecosystems with Aarch64 servers and Aarch64 native OSS server-based cloud computing.

The CloudStack and Ceph Day 2024 took place on February 22nd in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
