When Tennessee’s Department of Human Services needed to provide residents with better access to vital services like healthcare and food assistance, they teamed up with Red Hat partner KPMG to modernize their systems.
Using a mix of open source Red Hat technology, including Red Hat® OpenShift® and Red Hat Ansible® Automation Platform, KPMG built a SaaS-based integration, data, and shared services platform: the KRIS Connected Platform. KRIS connects siloed, monolithic legacy systems to unify and streamline services, giving residents a single point of access.
With its customizable, modular features and hybrid cloud portability, the platform is a good fit for government organizations looking to modernize, and KPMG is expanding its use to other states and domains.
