When Honeywell decided to become a cutting-edge industrial software company, it needed a partner that could help it accelerate time-to-market and deliver its solutions on a global scale. Microsoft met both criteria, leading the two companies to work together on Honeywell Forge—an integrated platform for building industry-specific applications that connect assets, people, and processes to enable improved operational performance, quality, and sustainability. Developed using Visual Studio Code and various Azure services, Honeywell Forge is now up-and-running, supporting multiple vertical applications. Honeywell and Microsoft are continuing to evolve Honeywell Forge and are now partnering on its full-scale deployment around the globe—finding new ways to go after new markets and new opportunities.
