When strangers pulled up after midnight attempting to break into her truck, Katelyn received a notification on her Ring App – and initially thought it was her neighbor. After opening the app, she watched as one of them stuck something in the grill of the truck, then activated the siren to make them leave.
Fortunately, the truck was not significantly damaged and Katelyn submitted the footage to authorities. “It allows me to know I have recorded video on all areas around my house at anytime, anywhere," Katelyn says. "If I hear a sound, I can easily pull up my Ring Camera dashboard and check things out.”
